The Benicia Peddler’s Fair is
August 9. Just to let you know the store will be open at 9:30 .
There will be a $5 a ball/skein selection out front. Come take a
knitting break in our air conditioned store.
Giovanna’s Finishing Your Projects class
on Wednesday nights is ongoing though August at $15 drop-in fee.
Classes will resume in September. Still
at the bargain price of $50 for three lessons.
On Beyond Scarves with Ellen—Tuesdays, 6
to 8- September
9, 16 and 23.
Top Down Sweater Class with Carol- Tues.

Giovanna will be teaching you to make

on Wednesdays, Sept. 10, 17 and 24 from

Saturdays in September:
September 14----10 to 12---Sampler Skill based Afghan –Block of
the month for a year.—using Harmony yarns from New Zealand
September 28---- 10 to 12 ----Aran/Cables/Bobbles Heirloom
Afghan—Block of the month for a year using a solid light color wool.
$75 for the entire project or $15 for
drop in. This project will be on-going from
September 2008 through
September 2009.
Thursday nights – Charity Knitting--- 6 to 8 p.m.
Headhuggers Northern California is on
going for hospital distribution. Bears for Africa is completed. 2
blankets were sent to the Navaho Elders. New knitters were born at the
Charity Begins at Home event.
Afghans
for Afghans is starting again August
7 and will continue until October.
